[Random] Rant about a random BG novel

I need to rant about a trash BG I just read. Please don’t mind me.

But in case anyone is interested with my rant, here’s the background of the novel:
It’s a transmigration medical novel where the FL died of sickness and transmigrate into an ancient china setting, with a medical system. The summary sounded casual like a normal OP FL where a lot of people ask her to treat their illness, even check corpse too.

But what I got after reading 1/3 of the novel:
Yeah, the FL did treat a lot of people but I don’t see her checking corpse but never mind that. What the summary failed to mention about is the fact that she’s a mother of a 3 month(?) old baby who has somewhat of a hereditary heart/nerve problem and destined to die young.

The original FL died because her child won’t survive adulthood, hence deemed useless by the father of the child and ordered servant to kill her. So the current FL woke up in her body without any memories. All she could remember what being violently violated by someone she can’t see because she was bounded by chains. The body only remember the fear.

But never mind that. With the medical system, the FL soon managed to extend her baby’s lifespan by exchanging medicine with system using points, obtained by doing good deeds.

At this point, it’s pretty okay. What’s not okay was she soon bumped into a cruel, powerful person who kidnapped her to treat his illness because she was rumored to be a quality doctor.

After she managed to treat the man and escaped, things got back to normal. Then on a random day, she got kidnapped by a pervert at night and dude carried her off to the forest to do the deeds.

The aforementioned cruel and powerful dude for some reason saw the abduction because he and 3 bodyguards were standing on the roof of a building for no reason. Anyway, the cruel dude got interested by the abduction and followed behind the pervert to watch the deed.

Even after the FL woke up in the forest and attempted to fight off the pervert, the cruel dude never thought to help. He just watched. Until the pervert pulled the FL’s robe and revealed her shoulder blade where there’s a familiar flower tattoo. Then he swiftly jump down from a tree to kill the pervert.

Apparently the tattoo is his family technique, which only ladies pregnant with his child and successfully have birth will get the tattoo. But he never seen FL before so he got curious and acted nice gentlemanly with her to ask further questions.

FL somehow could guess that this cruel dude was the person who violated the original FL because the body remember the fear and she gets fragments of memories from time to time. But she managed to trick him into believing the tattoo is a wrong/different tattoo with the system’s help. Cruel dude immediately dropped the act and left, completely ignored FL.

After a couple of months, he returned and declared that she indeed the mother of his son and demanded her to return home with him (never mind that he previously ordered her death, he couldn’t remember faces and names of the women he fucxed because there’s too many to remember).

FL of course won’t follow him, she’s not brain dead but he said he would kill everyone in the clinic she’s staying in if she doesn’t come with him. So she left with him.

All the interactions during the journey and also at home, the author make sure to depict that the dude only treat the mother of his child as a thing. He only cares for his child, especially if it’s a boy.

At home, there’s a total of 67 ladies, in which one gave birth to a girl (now 7 years old) and 2 pregnant ladies about 6 months in. The cruel dude even confessed that he doesn’t bother to know the names of the ladies there, unless they successfully gave birth.

At this point, I gave up with this novel. Oh, actually, I gave up the moment the FL followed dude home because it felt like the entire plot went south. But I really wanted to know who is the ML.

Like was it the handsome dude who seems to hold some power that he could even give the FL a recommendation letter to the imperial hospital?

Or the handsome young man from a big merchant family who was kind and capable?

Or the youthful-looking powerful doctor who’s actually 40 years old?

And the answer? The ML is the cruel dude who violently violated the original FL, got her pregnant, then ordered her death because her child was a failed child, and later returned to demand the child that current FL saved by exchanging all her points with system by constantly doing good deeds. Yes, that mofo is the ML.

WHAT.THE.HAIL.

Frck, what kind of trash I just read?!
