Zhu Hou sat at the living room, looking with gloomy face at Zhu WuXin who was at the center.

“Do you know your wrong?” Zhu Hou asked after throwing a glance at Zhu WuXin.

“Know what wrong?” Zhu WuXin asked back and said, “I didn’t do anything wrong.”

“You unfilial daughter, still have the guts to say you didn’t do anything wrong!”

“As a member of the Zhu House, you didn’t thought for the sake of the hundreds life of House, and acted shamelessly as you wished. Even made mistake and didn’t repent, humiliated the Princess out in the public. Absolutely disgraceful!”

“If I known earlier, at that time I would have just killed you with the punishment of fifty hits!” Zhu Hou sneered at Zhu WuXin.

Zhu WuXin dug her ears a bit, why is it these ancient people like to put up their life in whatever they said? Can’t you be a bit creative? Your life is not that fragile. Don’t scare yourself (with these thought).

Completely fearless, Zhu WuXin looked at Zhu Hou, “You can try that again.”

The small side table shook a bit times from the force of Zhu Hou’s strike. All the people at the scene was scared by Zhu Hou’s roar, their face pale white. Obviously, Zhu WuXin have completely fired him up.

But Xiao Lian didn’t looked like she will leave anytime, following her all the way to the woodshed.

After the door was locked, she cried to Zhu WuXin and said , “Miss, don’t worry. I’ll go look for Young Master HongSan, please wait for me. You must wait for me.”

Initially Zhu WuXin want to ask her not to look for HongSan, but when she rushed to the window side, the corridor was empty. Left only the fading sound of her footsteps. WuXin silently returned to inside of the woodshed. What can HongSan do even if he returned? From what she understood from Zhu Hou’s words, she have committed such an unforgivable crime, not giving her an immediate death because he even considered problem of the money needed to sharpen the blade.[1]

Even if HongSan came back, what can he do? Who knows, she might be starved to death before he comes back.

[1] : 沒把她凌遲處死還考慮了磨損刀片要花錢的實際問題了 – In my opinion, it might be in line with what he said about not flogging because he don’t want to dirty his boards.
