Translator note : I love the title. And ehmergerd, Second Bro has arrived~! *girly scream*
“Second Young Master, is hungry again?”
Zhu HongSan walked inside, smiled and nodded, “Aunt Liu,[1] please make a portion for me too.”
“WuXin, what’s wrong with you?”
HongSan saw that Zhu WuXin’s face was flushed red, he squatted down and patted her cheeks. He realized that the area above her cheeks were hot enough to burn. It gave him a start. He pushed her a bit, she even collapsed at his arm.[2]
Aunt Liu saw WuXin’s condition, immediately put away the kitchen knife and knelt in front of HongSan, tearfully said, “Second Young Master, please quickly invite a doctor to look at Miss.”
“What happened to WuXin?”
“You went out to buy merchandise so you might not know. Yesterday, everyone in Yue Lai Inn were all killed overnight. Fourth Miss also was there, but she managed to escaped. Not sure how she came back, she was dropped off in front of the main door the whole afternoon but nobody cared.”
“I saw that she have injuries all over her body, but Big Miss [3] doesn’t allow anyone to see her. We are just lowly servants, don’t dare to offend her. Fourth Miss is so pitiful, now even her personal maidservant Xiao Xi is dead. Miss only left you, the only person who can help her.”
HongSan swiftly carried Zhu WuXin up in one swept, “Aunt Liu, once you finished cooking, send the food to my place. Xiao Hei!”
[Translator note : 1 ]
A bodyguard dressed in black, appeared at the door, “Here.”
“Immediately go and invite Doctor Lu. The sooner the better.”
“Yes.”
Using the fastest speed he can muster, HongSan carried Zhu WuXin back to his own Court.[4] He was only out of home for a few days, and she gets bullied to this state again. When actually will they be wiling to give up!
The clothes worn by Zhu WuXin, are some common clothes of the servants.
HongSan noticed that there are dried bloodstains on her body, when he put her on the bed. Pieces of the bloodstains are becoming hardened. He was not very sure where the blood came from, so he can only call a maidservant called Xiao Lian and asked her to help WuXin change clothes.
Xiao Lian finished changing the clothes, cried to HongSan and said, “Young Master, Fourth Miss actually haven’t even get her wounds bandaged. Now they are discharging pus.”
HongSan’s heart took several beatings upon hearing that. He promised WuXin before that he will protect her, but now he have let her to endure such sufferings. HongSan heavily punched the pillar at the corridor, and Xiao Hei arrived at the same time, hurriedly leading the doctor in.
Seeing his own master with gloomy facial expression, they don’t dare to disturb him. Xiao Lian glanced meaningful at Xiao Hei, and let them inside to have the doctor treat Zhu WuXin. Then HongSan also immediately adjust his emotions, and followed them inside.
[1] : 大娘 – It’s the same word used in the previous chapter, in which I translated as Old lady. Since the kitchen lady have a name now, we will call her Aunt Liu from now on. Please take note that she is not actually their Aunt. Just that English lacks variation in naming for servant her age/rank.
[2] : 她竟然就沿著他的手臂倒了下去 – This is currently the weirdest sentence I ever encountered. If you fall, then you fall ah. Does it matters if you fell along, under, across, above the arm? ^^;;
[3] : 大小姐 – The eldest Miss, that means the Third Miss since the top eldest two siblings were Young Masters.
[4] : 自己的屋子 – The author wrote ‘his own house’, which is weird given all family members should be living together in the same mansion, but different court. I will be translating it as Court until I get proofs that he is living out of Zhu House.
[Edit] Okay, fellow friend LiRu have clarified this. 屋子 means room, thank you very much.
Translator note : So what do you think about Hongsan? 😀
I like him for his brotherly love, because it means a lot in this cold Zhu House.
cool Big brother~ :’3
Thanks for the comment, glad you managed to get into the chapter just fine.
Wait… bullied to this state… again?!? Why are the Chinese family f*cked up so much? XD
Thanks very much for all your hard work!!!
Ikr, such torture …
Oooh it’s not yellow but blue! Hmm.. why did I remember Su-won from Akatsuki no Yona? Maybe because they’re also relatives? and both are ikemen hehe. I’m rooting for you (for now), Brother!
lol, for now
屋子 is room while 屋 by itself is house according to my Chinese dictionary.
Oh, so that’s why. I’ll go check later
[edit] Turns out Bing have wronged me in this one ;D
I was wrong, Google Sensei! I go change that now.
Ah, she does at least have one family member who cares for her. Nice, and thanks for the translation.
I ship the bro! hahaha.. I’m just glad that she has someone that she can depend on in that cruel household~
